Dr Sorcha Nic Giolla has been enjoying general practice for over 17 years. She grew up in Ireland and qualified from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in 1996.

After working in a variety of hospital jobs in Glasgow she entered general practice and hasn’t looked back since. She completed various exams including Membership of the U.K. College of General Practitioners in 2000 and Fellowship of the NZ Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011.

She thrives on the variety and scope of general practice. Having first worked in Christchurch in 2001 she has particularly valued being able to help different generations of families through their many life events of the last 15 years.
