FACE MASK EXEMPTIONS
Recently we have had a number of requests for face mask exemptions, especially for children. We do not provide these exemptions. If you want to enquire about one please do so at Disabled Persons Assembly NZ on (04) 801 9100 or email them on info@dpa.org.nz
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE REQUESTS FOR WELL PEOPLE
Some preschools have been asking parents to provide medical certificates to say their children are well. This is not the role of General Practice and takes appointments from sick patients who need to be seen.
Therefore if your preschool requests this of you, please let them know we don’t provide them as our focus is on sick people who need our help.
MEDCIAL CERTIFICATES FOR CLOSE CONTACTS WHO ARE REQUIRED TO ISOLATE BUT ARE NOT UNWELL
Anyone who is required to stay at home due to being a close contact of a case can phone the COVID-19 Healthline on 0800 358 5453 to get a medical certificate – for the reasons outlined above Marshlands Family Health Centre will not be providing these.
